Background During the last decade, demand for fish oil as a feed component has increased. Therefore, identifying sources of from processed catfish waste is an important task. This study aimed to analyse relationship between fresh weight and mesenteric in each group determine how variations size (Pangasianodon hypophtalmus) heating temperature affect fatty acid profiles. Methods The primary source raw material used produce organ, specifically belly fat catfish. was obtained following categories: Group A (290-390 g), B (440-685 C (890-1,100 g). subjected four different levels (45°C, 60°C, 75°C, 90°C). parameters that were analysed included biometry measurements, correlation tissue, content. Results Significant positive linear correlations found body tissue (p < 0.001, r 2 = 0.65), 0.72), 0.64). Notably, significant differences composition observed among groups varied temperatures. Within group, unsaturated acids ranged 51.25% 56.61%, n-3 1.44% 1.77%, n-6 9.04% 10.1%, n-9 35.35% 37.43%. Temperature fluctuations led contents 52.06% 55.55%, 1.28% 1.46%, 8.14% 8,45%, 34.9% 36.92%. Conclusions best (with 440 g 685 g) through process at 45°C

Abstract. Nawastuti D, Darwanto DH, Mulyo JH, Suadi. 2023. Consumer perceptions of stingrays in coastal areas Indonesia. Biodiversitas 24: 6844-6851. Stingray populations harvested for food may pose risks to security and conservation goals. The purpose this research is (i) determine the type fish product based on how consumers obtain product, (ii) gender (iii) ii) consumption purposes. Primary data were collected from Google Forms followed by interviews with selected households. number respondents was 125 people Java Island, Timor Sumba Adonara Lembata Bangka Belitung Island Flores Island. information obtained investigated using Chi-square analysis understand consumer preferences an adaptation SPSS 25 programming. results show that there are two relationships, namely has a significant relation fishing, way fish, fishery products they buy relationship because male find it easier get fishing so consume individually, groups, or sell. A proper understanding differences stingray can help sustainability fisheries region be known exactly who access sustainable food. Although several types protected, other should not consumed. we useful increasing public awareness regarding use catching its impact carrying capacity

This study explored the effects of mango seed (MS) powder supplementation on growth, immune response, gene expression, and intestinal morphology Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) over an 8-week period. A total 300 fingerlings (average weight 15.29 ± 0.05 g) were divided into five treatment groups fed either a basal diet or one four experimental diets containing MS at concentrations 10 (MS10), 20 (MS20), 40 (MS40), 80 (MS80) g kg−1. The results demonstrated that MS-supplemented experienced significant improvements (p < 0.05) in gain (WG), specific growth rate (SGR), survival (SR) compared to control group (0 kg−1 MS). MS-treated also showed increase height branching villi along entire length intestine, as well significantly higher villus-to-crypt depth ratio (V/C), indicating enhanced health functionality. Moreover, although did not peroxidase activity, it lead activity skin mucus serum lysozyme, with upregulated expression immune-related (IL-1, IL-8, LBP) antioxidant genes (GST-α, GPX, GSR). Polynomial regression analysis identified optimal dosage 36.43–45 for effectively improving immunity, immuno-oxidant tilapia. These emphasize promising natural supplement and, potentially, other freshwater fish widely used aquaculture.
