Analyzing prokaryotic codon usage trends has become a crucial topic of study with significant ramifications for comprehending microbial genetics, classification, evolution, and the control gene expression. This review explores numerous facets patterns, looking at different parameters like habitat lifestyle across broad groups prokaryotes by emphasizing role reprogramming in adaptive strategies its integration into systems biology. We also explored variables driving bias, including natural selection, mutation, horizontal transfer, codon-anticodon interaction, genomic composition through thorough current literature. Furthermore, special session on pathogenic phylogeny been discussed. looked various software indices that have recently applied to genomes. The promising directions lay ahead map future research emphasized. Codon variations communities could be better understood combining environmental, metagenomic, system biology approaches.

The species Niphon spinosus (Cuvier, 1829) is the only representative of family Niphonidae and genus Niphon, its taxonomic history complicated; it still unclear in a phylogenetic sense. In this study, we report complete mitochondrial genome N. (OP391482), which was determined to be 16,503 bp long with biased A + T contents (53.8%) using next-generation technology. typical set 13 protein-coding genes (PCGs), 2 rRNA genes, 22 tRNA one control region (D-loop) are included genome. H-strand encoded 28 (14 tRNA, rRNA, 12 PCGs), D-loop, whereas L-strand remaining 9 (8 ND6). Its nucleotide composition, gene arrangement, codon usage patterns, secondary structures identical other members Percoidei suborder. Furthermore, reconstructed trees based on PCGs. resulting showed placing as separate lineage within Niphonidae, close relationship Trachinus draco (Trachinidae), clustering major subfamilies like Luciopercinae Percinae These findings will contribute future studies evolutionary history, population genetics, molecular taxonomy, phylogeny related species.
