Abstract
Forest
soils
are
important
components
of
forest
ecosystems,
and
soil
quality
assessment
as
a
decision-making
tool
to
understand
maintain
productivity
is
essential.
Various
methods
have
been
developed,
which
occasionally
generated
inconsistent
results
between
types.
We
assessed
the
five
communities
(herb,
shrub,
Quercus
acutissima
,
Pinus
thunbergii
Q.
–
P.
mixed
plantation)
using
two
common
dry
barren
mountains
in
Yimeng
Mountain
area,
China.
Sixteen
physical,
chemical
biological
properties
were
analysed.
The
index
was
determined
established
minimum
data
set
based
on
selection
principal
component
analysis

analysis.
Silt,
total
phosphorus
(P),
nitrogen
(N),
L-leucine
aminopeptidase,
acid
phosphatase
vector

identified

representative
indicators
