ABSTRACT Effective management of ecosystem services (ESs) is critical for sustainable regional development. Multi‐scale ESs assessments provide valuable insights spatial management. However, limited attention has been given to the spatial–temporal heterogeneity and driving mechanisms across urban hierarchies their integration into Therefore, taking Yangtze River Economic Belt in China as a case study, we assessed service values (ESVs) five from 2000 2020. Results showed that area ratios variation ESVs trends were typically S‐shaped small cities super cities. High‐value clusters decreased, low‐value ESV linear increase intensified. Human activities predominantly impacted lower hierarchy, whereas terrain conditions significantly higher hierarchy. Furthermore, novel framework was proposed integrate management, emphasizing multi‐scale ESs. This study effective strategies support region‐specific

The agro-tourism integration model combines agricultural production, rural life, and tourism experiences, bringing new opportunities for the sustainable development of counties. objective this study is to explore impact on counties, reveal underlying mechanisms regional heterogeneity effects, provide a scientific basis formulation revitalization policies. Based panel data from 1749 counties in China 2008 2021, an empirical test using propensity score matching-difference-in-differences (PSM-DID) found that National Policy Leisure Agriculture Rural Tourism Demonstration Counties significantly enhances level through three mechanisms: stimulating consumer demand, attracting capital inflows, optimizing industrial structure. Moreover, effect more pronounced western regions China. In terms theory, shifts focus county level, constructing comprehensive measurement index system county-level development. It analyzes which agriculture operates verifies policy effects. practice, implementations are proposed adopt multi-pronged approach increase agricultural-tourism consumption; promote government-enterprise cooperation introduce long-term funding; develop service industry location-specific manner continuously optimize This indicates effective path design needs take into account differences resource endowments. has important implications promoting under strategy.
