Evaluating analytical methods with innovative metrics is essential to ensure the effectiveness of procedures. Various approaches have been proposed assess performance an method and its environmental consequences, as sustainable environment green chemistry ideology are high importance nowadays. Considering greenness evaluation developed procedures, Green Analytical Procedure Index (GAPI), one these metrics, utilizes five distinct colored pentagons evaluate footprint process at different stages. An additional tool named Complementary (ComplexGAPI) was introduced expand on GAPI by adding fields pertaining processes performed prior procedure itself. Nevertheless, existing ComplexGAPI lacks a comprehensive scoring system for individual methods, which would allow even easier comparison procedures using this tool. In response queries from users, study introduces refined ComplexMoGAPI, merging visual appeal precise total scores. The accompanying software streamlines application, facilitating quicker simpler evaluations. This available open source bit.ly/ComplexMoGAPI. We believe that, following success, ComplexMoGAPI will also gain attention eventually trust acceptance chemical community.

ABSTRACT Rapid and accurate quantification of ciprofloxacin hydrochloride (CIP) tylosin tartrate (TYZ) in veterinary formulations is crucial for ensuring product quality therapeutic efficacy. This study introduces a green cost‐effective analytical method that combines the simplicity UV spectrophotometry with optimization power nature‐inspired algorithms simultaneous determination CIP TYZ tablet formulation. Fourteen were comparatively assessed using root average squared error (RASE), absolute (AAE), coefficient ( R 2 ). The Corona virus (CVO) algorithm Bat demonstrated superior performance TYZ, respectively. CVO algorithm, optimized CIP, exhibited RASE, AAE, values 0.37, 0.27, 0.998, respectively, calibration set, while bat tailored yielded 0.54, 0.41, 0.984. Test sets 0.55, 0.46, 0.991 0.20, 0.15, 0.995 confirming predictive ability. Validation was performed accuracy profile approach. limits detection (LODs) determined to be 0.86 μg mL −1 0.36 (LOQs) calculated as 2.88 1.21 TYZ. environmental impact comprehensively Green Solvent Selection Tool (GSST), National Environmental Methods Index (NEMI), modified Eco‐Scale, Modified GAPI (MoGAPI), complementary whiteness evaluation via RGBfast its eco‐friendly profile. proposed greenness, reflected elevated GSST scores favorable NEMI assessment. Specifically, achieved Eco‐Scale score 84, MoGAPI 81, index 61, by algorithm. These results confirm environmentally sustainable profile, reinforcing suitability applications. novel approach offers significant advantages terms cost, speed, sustainability compared conventional chromatographic techniques, paving way more efficient greener methods pharmaceutical control. Abstract Background Intestinal coccidiosis is a debilitating disease in poultry and livestock, leading to economic impact worldwide. Coccidiosis prevented treated broilers by the inclusion of anticoccidials feed. Toltrazuril administered potable water treat coccidiosis. Objective Three robust analytical methods for quantitation toltrazuril pure pharmaceutical formulations are developed. Furthermore, ecological metrics, either penalization- or color-code-based techniques, applied appraisal assays. Methods First, second-derivative (Δλ; 5 nm) spectrophotometric method used. measured from peak at 244–260 nm within linearity range 5–25 μg/mL. The second an HPTLC analysis performed on aluminum sheet silica gel using ethyl acetate–methanol–ammonium chloride buffer–water (8:1:0.5:0.5, volume respectively) as elution phase. Toltrazuril, retardation factor 0.66 ± 0.01, linearly determined 1–9 μg/spot 243 nm. third reversed-phase HPLC with diode array detection, Agilent C18 column (5 μm, 4.6 × 150 mm) isocratic mode 1 mL/min flow rate mobile phase acetonitrile ratio 80:20 (v/v). elutes retention time 2.58 0.1 min 0.25–25 Results Calculated 2D-values areas highly correlated their corresponding drug concentrations coefficients: r > 0.999. All were International Council Harmonization (ICH) validated dosage form satisfactory % recoveries (97–103%). Statistical comparisons versus reported one t-test F-test disclose insignificant variation. In examining greenness whiteness norms, proposed evaluated ranked alongside four different methods. Conclusions green, accurate, can be routine QC determination formulations. Highlights substantially affects chicken intestinal tract reduced growth. used treatment prevention robust, precise developed ecologically assessed compared published ones.
