Abstract Urban planning is critical in mitigating the impacts of disasters, enhancing community resilience and promoting sustainable development. This review study systematically analyzes role urban disaster risk reduction (DRR) through a Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) approach. By reviewing scholarly articles case studies, this paper examines various strategies that contribute to DRR, including land use planning, infrastructure development, mapping, engagement. The findings highlight effectiveness integrating assessments into processes, importance adaptive design, need inclusive practices involve local communities decision-making. also identifies challenges such as inadequate policy implementation, lack resources, interdisciplinary collaboration, analyzing participation academic importance, correlating publication papers with number reported disasters. Through comprehensive analysis existing literature, underscores potential reduce risks enhance resilience. concludes recommendations policymakers, planners, researchers strengthen DRR initiatives via strategic practices. contributes growing body knowledge emphasizes creating safer, more resilient cities.

Urban resilience is a new paradigm for urban risk governance, whereas developing community the foundation better resilient governance. Corporations serve as both and pivotal factor in ensuring of community. Therefore, it vital to encourage their active involvement This investigated key influential factors corporations governance well influence paths related these factors. Firstly, multi-participant symbiotic relationships symbiosis system were analyzed. The hypothesis model corporations’ was proposed, combining Theory Planned Behavior Social Practice. Finally, subjective objective explored based on structural equation linear regression by questionnaire investigation. results show that: 1) Corporate behavior influenced such behavioral attitude (ATT), norm (SN), perceived control (PBC), intention (BI), also institutional including Field capital. 2) five (B) are follows: SN→ATT→BI→B; PBC→ATT→BI→B; PBC→B; × BI → B; capital B. 3) result combination rational moral reasoning, with rationality preceding morality. positively negatively moderate transformation into behavior, respectively.

Increased external uncertainties and growing tensions within the urban economic system pose new challenges to economy. How improve quality of development enhance resilience economies has become a goal for sustainable development. Therefore, taking Jiangsu Province as an example, this study aims explore evolutionary trend provide valuable references cultivating enhancing resilience. Initially, indicators is established based on three dimensions: resistance, adaptability, Then, combined with entropy method, coefficient variation kernel density natural break-point Theil index, spatial temporal differences elasticity 13 cities in from 2006 2021 are analyzed. Finally, exploratory data analysis convergence models applied investigate correlation The results show upward Province, but significant regional agglomeration. A downward level observed Southern Northern Jiangsu. model suggests that growth will gradually converge same stable level, have reduction. In future, region needs strengthen cooperation, role central city drive, continuously promote high-quality
