Urban waterfront public space is a key infrastructure for enhancing citizens’ well-being. However, rapid urbanization squeezes out blue and green spaces in cities, extreme weather challenges exist winter resulting unmet needs significant decline satisfaction. There an urgent need to optimize design bridge the gap between supply demand. This study proposes workflow optimizing of cities based on KANO-IPA model from perspective users’ demands. We constructed systematic comprehensive set spatial demand indicators covering seven dimensions 42 indicators. A satisfaction survey was conducted across 12 sample reaches northeastern China. used KANO classify attributes indicators, then applied IPA analysis evaluate them, finally calculated priority indices quantify their sequences. Based this, we proposed three-phase optimization strategies: near-term upgrading, medium-term steady promotion, far-term charm enhancement, offering recommendations improving cities. provides long-term support urban regeneration, resource management,

The sustainable renewal of old communities is a key approach to improving residents’ quality life and optimizing urban stock space. However, the research on effectiveness initiatives, particularly regarding resident satisfaction, remains insufficient. This study aimed develop structured by constructing development framework with 28 indicators across five aspects—traffic space, leisure green sense belonging, comfort—to evaluate satisfaction both physical spiritual dimensions. Utilizing IPA–Kano method, revised IPA quadrant diagram was generated guide optimization efforts. conducted an extensive survey 16 in Chengdu, China, identify patterns challenges. Based these insights, four representative projects were selected as case studies. revealed that evaluation categorized into 12 necessary needs expectation needs. Furthermore, community Chengdu place notably greater emphasis dimension. Specifically, scores for 14 indicators—11 related material dimension 3 dimension—were found be below average score 3.28. Targeted strategies are proposed indicators. method offers valuable insights references future designs contributes transformation spaces China.

In recent years, the ice and snow tourism industry has exhibited a concurrent state of vigorous expansion intense rivalry. Strengthening competitiveness is paramount significance for attaining dominant position in market. Thus, this study endeavors to dissect multi-dimensional determinants destinations from demand perspective establish an evaluation framework. Leveraging 48,420 tourist reviews sourced ten highly reputed attractions Harbin, text features were extracted via application Term Frequency - Inverse Document (TF-IDF). Subsequently, Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) topic model was deployed precisely extract key themes. The sentiment inclination gauged by SnowNLP. Eventually, Importance Performance (IPA) utilized analyze strengths weaknesses competitiveness. outcomes are as follows: (1) Seven prominent themes, namely activities, environment, resources, historical cultural aspects, cost performance, service, experience, recognized potent driving forces. (2) Tourists manifested positive emotions high degree approval. (3) score Harbin destination determined be 0.64, with activities constituting advantage, whereas resources environment necessitating enhancement. This transcends constraints traditional supply-side-centered research. Innovatively, integrated into system, thereby augmenting connotations model. Based on LDA clustering results, analysis conducted, enhancing accuracy portraying tourists’ inner experiences. Concrete forward-looking strategic recommendations proffered destinations, furnishing theoretical practical guidance high-quality progression tourism.

With growing importance of sustainability tourism, there is limited research on evaluate different this region. The objectives are to classify tourism into five quality categories based tourist preferences and identify key when selecting destinations. A quantitative approach was used, surveying 250 Budapest, who rated 12 practices. data were analysed categorize these as "Must-be," "One-dimensional," "Attractive," "Indifferent," or "Reverse." results revealed that environmental conservation (M = 84.4%), wildlife-friendly 77.6%), waste reduction 75.2%) top priorities, classified "Must-be" attributes, indicating their essential role satisfaction. In contrast, fair trade (68.8%) received lower priority. These findings suggest place more value visible efforts rather than ethical like trade. highlights focusing conservation, wildlife protection, strategies. By understanding preferences, stakeholders can develop strategies align with tourists' supporting both economic growth

Despite being a popular destination, Riau Island's tourist numbers have declined as of April 2024, and remain lower than those other Indonesian destinations. Therefore, prompt actions are needed to increase the number visitors. using stimulus-organism-response (S-O-R) framework, this research delves into intricate factors that mold individuals' propensity revisit Island. Employing survey-centric methodology, an extensive dataset was scrupulously amassed from eligible participants through deployment digital questionnaires. Stringent criteria were implemented via purposive sampling, ensuring respondents had frequented Island at least thrice in preceding two years. The two-month duration data collection yielded robust dataset, encompassing total 154 responses. analysis, executed Partial Least Squares (PLS) method SmartPLS 4 software, validates affirmative impact both destination quality source credibility on satisfaction willingness revisit. Furthermore, results disclose functions positive mediator these relationships. This implies perceived indirectly contribute probability future visits by positively influencing overall tourists. These findings not only enrich people’s understanding determinants choices but also present valuable implications for enhancing management marketing strategies, ultimately aiming elevate experience. In essence, study adds refined comprehension dynamics underlying repeat visitation behaviors, opening avenues strategic interventions tourism sector.
