Mariculture is currently experiencing rapid growth in response to the rising global food demand, while simultaneously posing significant challenges environmental issues, such as pollution stress and ecological degradation. To achieve a balance between ecosystem maintenance seafood supply, marine ranching has flourished sustainable approach through implementation of artificial reef construction, stock enhancement, strategic releasing. However, few studies have evaluated impacts comparison situ survey data across geographical areas. Phytoplankton are vital organisms ecosystems that function essential indicators seawater quality biological diversity, reflecting health sustainability. In this study, we investigated species community structure, co-occurrence network phytoplankton based on 175 samples collected from 75 sites encompassing all 26 areas, along with their corresponding surrounding areas Yantai’s coastal sea. A total 112 were identified three phyla diatoms, dinoflagellates, chrysophytes; among them, diatoms dominated notably high proportion 98.83%. Their diversity structure exhibited variations different seasons geographic locations. Moreover, no preference was observed Nevertheless, analysis demonstrated lower values for average degree, clustering coefficient, path length ranching, indicating aquaculture activities reduced connectivity potential interactions. Additionally, it showed stability indicated by remaining nodes natural indices, regardless removed. These findings illustrate processes can mitigate losses maintaining they still alter association reduce overall stability. Harmful algal blooms (HABs) have become a worldwide environmental and human health problem, stressing the urgent need for reliable forecasting tool. Dynamic interactions between algae, including harmful bacteria play large role regulating water chemistry. Free-living quickly respond to small physical and/or chemical changes by adjusting their proteome. We hypothesize that this response is detectable at peptide level occurs before rapid phytoplankton growth characteristic of bloom events. To characterize microbiome's physiological preceding onset, we collected analyzed high-resolution metaproteomic time series free-living microbiome in coastal ecosystem. confirm twelve candidate HAB biomarkers are detectable, quantifiable, correlated across two pre-bloom periods. This study identifies proteomic shifts bacterial peptides which may be used as predictive initiation, potentially mitigating detrimental outcomes future.

However, recent investigations on role importance of micronutrients limiting factors in aquatic environments highlighted. This paper provides review metal phytoplankton interactions, with specific emphasis pertinent information influence trace growth, toxin production, other underlying mechanisms related HABs. Abstract Harmful algal blooms (HABs) and hypoxia, as common ecological disasters, are typically site-specific recurrent, causing enduring environmental problems for coastal communities. Although these issues often attributed to eutrophication, in certain low-nutrient areas, such disasters still frequently occur while the underlying cause is poorly understood. A prime example Qinhuangdao waters North China. This study intends investigate controlling factors of incongruous recurring those areas with a case Qinhuangdao, utilizing numerical models satellite observations. The result indicates that weak tide-induced upwelling during summer creates favorable conditions (warm water high transparency) occurrence HABs hypoxia this region. It due precisely situated at current amphidromic point semi-diurnal tides, characterized by tide mixing. Likewise, same story happens on northern shelf Shandong Peninsula, where also prominent present implies shallow local susceptible warm season. finding challenges traditional view strong-upwelling zones more vulnerable ample nutrient supply within euphotic layer. tidal dynamics can greatly affect vulnerability issues, which be significance management. Furthermore, may have broader global applicability, given ubiquity various other regions.

The Bohai Sea is a semi-enclosed shallow water that influenced by both natural and anthropogenic stressors. However, the microeukaryotic communities environmental factors affect them in different regions remain largely unclear. We investigated surface sediments from five geographic using high-throughput sequencing of 18S rDNA gene. Miaodao Archipelago, Yellow River Estuary, Central had highest Shannon Simpson indices eukaryotic communities, while Estuary exhibited Chao1 index. were mainly composed Dinoflagellata, Bacillariophyta, Ciliophora, Cercozoa, Protalveolata. Thalassiosira has relatively high abundance at Liaodong Bay Sea, possessing proportion 41.70% 38.10%, respectively, Gonyaulax was most abundant taxa Bay, occupying 57.77%. Moreover, negative correlation between diatoms dinoflagellates observed. Phosphorus, nitrogen, salinity, temperature, silicate major determinants composition. Microeukaryotic sediments, especially for composition ratio to dinoflagellates, reflected quality marine ecosystems. Overall, these community compositions provide reliable indicator monitoring level eutrophication Sea.

Hydrological and water quality datasets usually encompass a large number of characteristic variables, but not all these significantly influence analytical outcomes. Therefore, by wisely selecting feature variables with rich information content removing redundant features, it only can the analysis efficiency be improved, model complexity also simplified. This paper considers introducing granular-ball rough set algorithm for variable selection combining k-nearest neighbor method back propagation network to analyze hydrological data, thus promoting overall fused inspection.
