Abstract In this study, graphite and copper from spent LIBs were used to prepare supported zero-valent iron-copper (ZVI-Cu/G) by ball milling, improve the reactivity of ZVI. The structure, composition, morphology, properties ZVI-Cu/G fully analyzed. removal performances tetracycline tested under different reaction conditions. Graphite dispersion, specific surface area material. Operational factors, material dosage 1 g/L, initial pH 3, temperature 25 °C, H 2 O concentration mM, contribute best rate, being 100% in 30 min for mg/L solution. data fits a pseudo first-order model. Tetracycline rate was as high 90% even 3rd round reuse. This study reports novel ZVI with rate.
