Background: Unmet needs for healthcare services are now more widely recognized as an indicator of the inequalities access and utilization, with potential to reveal fragility systems. Abstract Background Avoiding deemed necessary healthcare needs may worsen prognosis and treatment options, damage people’s ability to perform their roles in society. Our study investigates why people avoid services an upper-middle-income country, Türkiye. Methods We apply TurkStat’s 2012 Health Survey Data that includes a comprehensive health social-demographic information of 28,055 survey participants who were 15 + aged. use bivariate probit model analyze the avoidance behavior inpatient level accordance with outpatient because observed significant correlation between under tertiary lower care. Results The findings show 2.6% aged population avoided hospital services. Furthermore, we found high cost (31%), organizational factors (21%) fear (12%) are prominent reasons avoiding Thereafter, our findings, figure out being covered by social security schemes decreases probability both 6.9%. Moreover, female, living rural area, having income increase chance avoider stages healthcare. Conclusion conclude inequalities main underlying determinants behavior.

This study aimed to measure unmet healthcare needs and investigate the factors affecting them in female baby boomers (individuals born between 1955 1963) using Korea Health Panel Data 2017 from February June by Institute for Social Affairs National Insurance Corporation. The data were analyzed descriptive statistics, chi-square test, t-test, multiple logistic regression SPSS WIN 25.0 program. results showed that proportion of was 11.1%, primary reason lack visitation time.
