The textile industry produces high volumes of colored effluents that require multiple treatments to remove non-adsorbed dyes, which could be recalcitrant due their complex chemical structure. Most the studies have dealt with biodegradation mono or diazo dyes but rarely poly-azo dyes. Therefore, aim this paper was study a four azo-bond dye (Sirius grey) and optimize its decolorization conditions. Laccase-containing cell-free supernatant from culture newly isolated fungal strain, Coriolopsis gallica strain BS9 used in presence 1-hydroxybenzotriazol (HBT) A Box–Benken design factors, namely pH, enzyme concentration, HBT performed determine optimal conditions for Sirius grey. were pH 5, 1 U/mL laccase, mM HBT, 50 mg/L initial ensuring yield rate 87.56% 2.95%/min, respectively. decolorized solution showed decrease phytotoxicity (Germination index GI = 80%) compared non-treated (GI 29%). This suggests laccase-mediator system promising alternative removal wastewater.

This study aims to investigate the performance of corona discharge plasma in removing textile dyes, especially those with large molecular weight and complexity. Reactive Blue 21 was selected as a model contaminant due size exceeding 1000 g/mol, contains heavy metals, nonbiodegradable, is widely used industry for turquoise blue, but rarely studied, its removal using technology. In this study, generated by kV voltage generator connected point-to-plane electrode, adding O2 gas flow. The effects pH, dye concentration, exposure time, catalyst addition were analyzed based on color COD from solution. results showed that time affected efficiencies. For 60 minutes, colour efficiency 73.83 % without catalyst. Fe2+ increased 100 within 50 degradation 82.93 %, energy yield 0.27 g/kWh at minutes. research proved could remove complex weight, indicating potential eliminate all types dyes.
