The link between remittances, food security, and economic growth is a complex important element of the development society. study aims to explore causality relationships Remittances, Food Security Economic Growth in Turkish economy. period from 1974 2018 annual data Calories intake (as proxy for security) are used framework time series. Techniques such as Zivot-Andrews (ZA) unit root, Toda-Yamamoto (TY), Breitung-Candelon (BCG), Hatemi-J tests detect assessing direction it. main findings consist of: (i) presence cointegration rank two among series, lack linear TY domain causality; (ii) BCG spectral only medium at 10% significance and, (iii) asymmetric Remittances positive changes, negative changes respectively 1,5, 1% significance. These results provide policymakers with valuable insights into complexity nature relationship growth, guiding them designing effective strategies poverty alleviation, sustainable development, inclusive growth.

Malnutrition remains a critical global health challenge, especially in rural areas, where it significantly impacts the and economic stability of households. This study explores (1) relationship between labor migration dietary protein intake households remaining economically disadvantaged regions (2) influence remittance income, farm earnings, self-produced food, changes family size due to on their protein. Panel data were collected through three-wave household survey 1368 across six counties provinces Guizhou, Yunnan, Shaanxi during 2012, 2015, 2018. Employing two-way fixed effects model, we found that positively affects consumption families left behind. The mediated model indicated decreases had most significant impact intake, with value 8.714, accounting for 0.729 total effect; followed by mediating effect crop at 2.579, representing 0.216 livestock 0.772, contributing 0.073 effect. However, income self-production be insignificant. In conclusion, our improves primarily increased production decreased size. These results highlight role structure productivity enhancing nutrition affected migration, offering valuable insights policymakers.
