Abstract Oreochromis niloticus a Nile tilapia fish is widely used for culture practice in many countries its easy acclimatization and high yield at short pace of time. Selenium‐chitosan (SeCh) nanoparticles are efficiently agriculture, medicine, aquaculture practices several studies. The significant approach Selenium‐Chitosan incorporated feed will be evaluated the present study to achieve better future. In study, SeCh nanoparticle was chemically synthesized with formulated feed. Selenium contains 31.49 g carbohydrates 41.52 proteins. SeCh‐fed O. fingerlings exhibited significantly increased specific growth rates terms weight gain, conversion ratio. Chemical characterization SeChNPs through FTIR spectroscopy indicates presence an adjuvant combination selenium chitosan functional groups COO stretch, CH, CC, CN stretch representing 3226, 2878, 1734 cm −1 , respectively. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) EDX analysis revealed structural properties as fibrous pattern that Carbon, Oxygen, elements predominant peak values. has higher protein content which standard hallmark essential prerequisite growth. innovative can taken further level testing processing developing feasible efficient enhancer.
