Abstract The study investigated the link between principals’ awareness of their effect on teachers’ emotional reframing (i.e., a form interpersonal emotion regulation aiding in cognitive reappraisal) and variables pertinent to school leadership, positive emotions, organizational commitment. Abstract Recent systematic reviews have shown that emotional competencies can be improved through training. In the workplace, such training has become increasingly popular over last decade. These programs aim to enhance intelligence, empathy or emotion regulation. This study wants assess effects and potential moderators of these workplace interventions. To our knowledge, this is first review focuses on context integrates empathy, regulation been preregistered with PROSPERO a protocol published before was conducted (CRD42021267073). We literature search using Embase, PsycInfo, PSYNDEX, Web Science Cochrane Central Register Controlled Trials. The included studies were analyzed in two metaanalyses. primary analysis, we standardized mean changes after for 50 studies, depending (a) construct (b) participants’ profession (teachers, health professionals, managers, others). determine efficacy trainings, separate metaanalysis controlled trials only ( k = 27). Both metaanalyses yielded moderate overall effect sizes also persisted more than three months end: (1) SMD pre-post 0.44 (95% CI [0.29, 0.59]), (2) EG-CG 0.46 [0.30, 0.63]). All professions benefited equally from interventions observed no significant differences effectiveness trainings. Overall, results suggest effectively train competencies, regardless specific focus. Limitations are high heterogeneity low methodological quality analyzed. Our shows need high-quality like randomized trials. Additionally, companies may consider incorporating competence into their employee leadership development routinely.

In recent years, the role of leadership in increasing employee satisfaction (ES) has received significant attention, with emotional intelligence (EI) emerging as a key factor promoting effective (EL) organizations. Although research demonstrated positive impact EI on workplace outcomes, interplay between perceived LE, EI, and ES remains underexplored. This is part this theme aims to investigate influence levels LE SE leaders work environment. study highlights importance integrating emotionally intelligent into organizational structures improve SE, which subsequently contributes success. A quantitative methodology was used, data collected through application three questionnaires: one assess perception another measure third SE. The results indicated correlation all constructs. Employees more favorable perceptions their leaders’ effectiveness reported greater satisfaction. We also found that significantly predicted ES.
