This study uses data of Chinese A-share listed companies from 2012 to 2021 empirically examine the impact and action mechanisms executives' green cognition on enterprises' technology innovation (GTI). The results Poisson regression show that have a significant effect promoting enterprise GTI, with conclusion remaining valid after endogenous robustness tests. Moreover, mechanism test indicates executive could promote GTI by enhancing their ESG performance. Further analyses find both government environmental regulation overseas experience strengthened promotion GTI. These findings provide new path for relationship between corporate micro-level theoretical basis policy recommendations practices.

Purpose This paper aims to investigate the actual impact, mechanism and internal external environmental adjustment effect of ESG performance on persistence green innovation using data from China’s A-share manufacturing listed companies 2009 2021. Design/methodology/approach Panel regression models are used explore enterprises innovation. To examine affecting enterprises, this refers research Wen Ye (2014) constructs an analysis framework intermediary effect. This study investigates the impact of green supply chains on firms' environmental information disclosure, utilizing Supply Chain Innovation and Application Pilot Policy (SCIAPP) as a quasinatural experiment.It explores policy's effect by employing difference-in-differences (DID) model with panel data from A-share listed firms in China spanning 2012 to 2021.The findings indicate that, firstly, SCIAPP significantly enhances disclosure among pilot firms, suggesting that foster such disclosures.Secondly, SCIAPP's mechanism involves improving executives' awareness bolstering external media scrutiny.Thirdly, is more pronounced stronger internal controls those located regions higher concerns.Based these conclusions, proposes recommendations advance development promote disclosure.
