Abstract In recent years, nonlinear science, particularly chaotic systems, has garnered significant research interest. Cross-coupled maplattices (CCML) represent a typical spatiotemporal structure, commonly utilized in data security fields such as hashfunctions. However, traditional CCMLs have limited parameter range, and their effects need enhancement, restricting application cryptography. This paper proposes an improved signal-enhanced cross-coupled map lattice(SE-CCML), which addresses the limitations of CCMLs. Through experimental analysis, we demonstrate that theimproved SE-CCML offers broader continuous space exhibits superior dynamics. These enhancementsmake it more suitable for cryptographic applications, significantly improving performance compared to its predecessors.Utilizing designed SE-CCML, develop concise new hash function evaluate performance. The resultsindicate proposed possesses excellent confusion diffusion properties, strong resistance collisions, and high security, effectively withstanding common types analytical attacks. It meets requirements functionsacross various domains. Our work provides novel solution secure functions. cross-coupledmap lattice improves encryption algorithms, making applicable diverse encryptionscenarios image block encryption.

The advancement of information technology has led to the widespread application remote measurement systems, where in form images or videos, serving as results, is transmitted over networks. However, this transmission highly susceptible attacks, tampering, and disputes, posing significant risks trustworthy results from instruments devices. In recent years, many encryption algorithms proposed for have focused on encrypting entire image, resulting resource waste. Additionally, most are designed only single-object-type images. Addressing these issues, paper proposes a multi-object region algorithm based an adaptive mechanism. Firstly, mechanism employed determine strategy adjusting sampling rate objects, achieved through allocation algorithm. Secondly, improved polygon segmentation utilized separate single-object regions images, dynamically sequence objects Finally, using chaos fusion XOR Experimental validation instrument demonstrates that offers high efficiency security advantages compared other mainstream image algorithms.

To address the consumption and security of color images for transmission storage, a cross-channel image encryption scheme based on discrete memristive coupled neuron model DWT compression is designed in this article. Firstly, dynamics system are analyzed found to possess hyperchaotic phenomenon, which provides sufficient scheme. Secondly, processed by wavelet transform (DWT) has quarter previous capacity. Then, combined with Hash function, resulting sequence given initial value system. Next, particle swarm foraging algorithm (PSFA) better disrupt correlation RGB channel. Finally, complementary DNA coding rule implemented further images. Simulation results show that even lossy compression, recovered can be clearly seen. The performance analysis illustrates under system, proposed brings higher
