Hepatitis B and C virus (HBV HCV, respectively) infections pose a significant occupational hazard to healthcare workers (HCWs) globally, with increased risk due exposure blood body fluids. In Sub-Saharan Africa, including Ghana, the prevalence of these among HCWs remains high, despite existing prevention measures. Understanding factors influencing HCWs' preventive behaviors is crucial for developing effective interventions reduce transmission risks in settings. This study aimed assess HBV HCV intentions related at tertiary hospital Ghana. cross-sectional, facility-based was conducted using quantitative approach. Two hundred were selected stratified random sampling. The Theory Planned Behavior used as conceptual framework determine behavioral toward hepatitis C. Data collected structured questionnaires analyzed descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, multiple linear regression. Cronbach's alpha internal consistency scales. Attitudes generally poor (M = 1.56 ± 0.56) did not significantly influence (β 0.056, P 0.427). Subjective norms showed moderate positive 3.14 0.64, β 0.208, 0.003). Self-efficacy emerged strongest predictor 3.44 0.59, 0.566, < 0.001), followed by 3.55 0.63, 0.321, 0.001). Interventions enhancing self-efficacy leveraging subjective may be most improving HCWs. These findings provide valuable insights development targeted strategies settings, particularly Ghanaian context.
