The
rapidly
growing
population,
urbanization,
and
advancements
in
technology
have
led
to
a
continuous
increase

quantity
diversity

solid
waste
(SW).

Abstract
Belief
and
plausibility
functions
based
on
evidence
theory
(ET)
have
been
widely
used
in
managing
uncertainty.
Various
generalizations
of
ET
to
fuzzy
sets
(FSs)
reported
the
literature,
but
no
generalization
q-rung
orthopair
(q-ROFSs)
has
made
yet.
Therefore,
this
paper
proposes
a
novel,
simple,
intuitive
approach
distance
similarity
measures
for
q-ROFSs
belief
within
framework
ET.
This
research
addresses
significant
gap
by
introducing
comprehensive
handling
uncertainty
using

it
acknowledges

Abstract
