The rapidly growing population, urbanization, and advancements in technology have led to a continuous increase both the quantity diversity of solid waste (SW). management SW stands out as an urgent concern, volume garbage places enormous strain on environment. Addressing this issue necessitates use methods (SWMMs). Therefore, paper, we propose new Multiattribute group decision-making (MGDM) method under q-rung orthopair fuzzy numbers (q-ROFNs) environment select optimal sustainable SWMM for effective SW. Firstly, present operational laws q-ROFNs based Sugeno-Weber’s norm, which overcomes shortcomings existing q-ROFNs. After that, proposed q-ROFNs, Sugeno-Weber prioritized weighted arithmetic (q-ROFSWPWA) aggregation operator (AO) aggregating considers priority relationship among Moreover, MGDM q-ROFSWPWA AO EDAS technique. Furthermore, consider case study selecting demonstrate method. We also comparative analysis with methods.

Abstract Belief and plausibility functions based on evidence theory (ET) have been widely used in managing uncertainty. Various generalizations of ET to fuzzy sets (FSs) reported the literature, but no generalization q-rung orthopair (q-ROFSs) has made yet. Therefore, this paper proposes a novel, simple, intuitive approach distance similarity measures for q-ROFSs belief within framework ET. This research addresses significant gap by introducing comprehensive handling uncertainty using Furthermore, it acknowledges limitations inherent current state research, notably absence challenges extending certain aggregation operators other including Hesitant sets, Bipolar Fuzzy soft etc. Our contribution lies proposal novel under ET, utilizing Orthopairian intervals (OBPIs). We establish new generalized demonstrate reasonability our method through useful numerical examples. Additionally, we construct GRA (OBP-GRA) daily life complex issues, particularly multicriteria decision-making scenarios. Numerical simulations results confirm usability practical applicability proposed

Abstract A novel interval valued p,q Rung orthopair fuzzy (IVPQ-ROF) multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) method for sustainable supplier selection (SSS) is proposed in this paper. This study mainly contains two research points: (1) tackling the interrelation between attributes; and (2) describing psychological state risk attitude of makers (DMs). For first point, we introduce Archimedean operation rules sets (IVPQ-ROFSs), then generalized p, q Maclaurin symmetric mean (GIVPQ-ROFMSM) operator weighted (GIVPQ-ROFWMSM) are defined to reflect correlation attributes. second positive ideal degree (PID) negative (NID) based on projection IVPQ-ROFSs, modified regret theory. Both them consider best alternative worst alternative, so as DMs. Finally, a SSS problem presented manifest effectiveness designed method. We also provide sensitivity analysis comparative further demonstrate rationality validity
