This study investigates the effect of microstructural changes in polyurethane coatings on their water resistance properties. Polyurethane with varying diluent contents were prepared and tested for penetration mechanical property retention. The time-dependent behavior within at different immersion durations was analyzed using low-field nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). Furthermore, free volume characteristic molecular groups each coating microscopic techniques, including positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy (PALS) attenuated total reflectance Fourier-transform infrared (ATR−FTIR). Results indicate that content significantly alters microstructure coatings. With increasing content, both average pore fraction initially decrease then increase, while groups, hydrophilic gradually decline. performance influenced by combined effects groups. Among five formulations, 20% 25% showed a superior resistance, higher retention properties after immersion, relatively low bound all ages. entropy weight method equal used to assess overall following ranking scores: f20 > f25 f30 f15 f10. offers theoretical support guide design practical application real-world engineering projects.

Road Traffic Accidents (RTAs) provide a substantial risk to both public safety and infrastructure within severe earthquake zones. This research aims thorough analysis of the many elements that contribute RTAs in area. Although on has been conducted numerous settings, there is lack localized specifically focused developing countries. Therefore, this study necessary address gap literature. Our focuses examining distinct issues are particular specific location. The objective customized solutions effectively reduce occurrence accidents. examine status RTAs, ascertain main factors contributing viable approaches improve road safety. A comprehensive data was undertaken, which included examination key highways, accident-prone areas, causes Insights were derived by use statistical analysis, hotspot mapping, categorization incidents. results revealed distressing roadway afflicted significant frequency accidents, even those occurring prominent thoroughfares. Excessive speed as primary factor, closely followed negligence recklessness. common factor seen these events insufficient enforcement traffic regulations. highlights several practical consequences. Firstly, it advised implement urgent actions such upgrading database, adoption contemporary management software, rigorous laws. establishment centralized database system crucial order enhance documenting Furthermore, cost-benefit provides justification for calming measures locations with high incidence implementation continuous awareness efforts clear legislative guidelines pertaining fatal accidents imperative promoting enhanced
