Application of Multi-Criteria Decision-Making Models for Assessment of Education Quality in Water Resources Engineering

Assessing and improving the quality of education in universities can play a prominent role developing countries. This study aims to demonstrate an extensive methodology with related algorithm for assessing Water Resource Engineering (WRE) based on Klein’s learning model using hybrid fuzzy-AHP-TOPSIS (FAT) method. Four out top ten Iran, including Iran University Science Technology (IUST), Amirkabir (AUT), Shiraz (SU), Khajeh Nasir al-Din Toosi (KUT), are considered as case studies. First, participants answered questions so that weight coefficients according fuzzy-AHP technique were extracted. Second, these transferred TOPSIS environment, where previously prioritized criteria utilized select ideal solution. Finally, relative closeness (CC) performance evaluation criterion form CC(IUST) = 0.54, CC(AUT) 0.49, CC(SU) 0.45, CC(KUT) 0.39 was obtained. Employing artificial bee and ant colony optimization in machine learning techniques as a cognitive neuroscience tool

The academic performance IT crucial and might fail if isn't documented identify the features influencing them, as well their strengths shortcomings. student prediction system needs be enhanced so that teachers can forecast students' performance. Numerous studies have been conducted increase accuracy students, but they encountered difficulties with unbalanced data algorithm tuning. To address these issues, study proposed different machine learning (ML) algorithms handled imbalanced by applying synthetic minority oversampling technique (SMOTE) employing hyperparameter tuning enhance during training process. ML models we used were decision tree (DT), k-nearest neighbor, XGBoost. fine-tuned Ant colony optimization (ACO) artificial bee techniques. Subsequently, techniques further models. After comparing results showed SMOTE ACO combined DT model outperformed other for prediction. Additionally, utilized Kendall Tau correlation coefficient analyze between factors positively or negatively impact success.
