Governments and politicians are very concerned about the environmental sustainability of energy sector, particularly with regard to oil gas. To assist in achieving global climate objectives, clean transition involves moving away from a fossil-fuel-based economy toward one that is dominated by clean, renewable energy. This reduces carbon emissions. Here, we consider moderating effects natural resources, urbanization, consumption between 1990 2022 as analyze impact China’s external balance goods services on country’s quality. We used ARDL econometric techniques present thorough empirical investigation. Overall, findings indicate ecological footprint adversely correlated transition, resource use, services, usage. Urbanization use non-renewable energy, however, positively associated footprint. The sources, richness all contribute sustainability. environment weakened urbanization It recommended policymakers facilitate acceleration utilizing promoting policies create favorable conditions for widespread adoption renewables, balancing nation’s urban structure way enhances self-sufficient development ensures sustainable future. Global warming has become a big problem around the world, and it is because of what people do. As possible answer, countries are looking for ways to keep their economies growing invest in technologies that use clean energy. Therefore, notion carbon neutrality emerged as crucial policy strategy nations attain sustainable development. This study expands existing discussions on by investigating influence key factors, including green innovation, financial development, natural resources depletion, trade openness, institutional quality, growth, urbanization progress made towards attaining neutral state BRICS nations. considers Method Moment Quantile-Regression (MM-QR) Prais–Winsten correlated panel corrected standard errors (PCSEs) estimators investigate objectives over period 1990–2021. Under investigated outcomes, this validated significant role growth neutrality. On other hand, finds positive resource development environmental deterioration. However, under systematic analysis, utilizes different proxies sector, instance, complexity, efficiency, stability, domestic credit provides interesting outcomes. Based these also suggestions desired levels sustainability.

ABSTRACT This study examines how green energy, technological innovation, and tourism affect the volatility of carbon dioxide emissions in global economy, considering role globalization, economic growth, population. uses STIRPAT framework based on 1995–2019 dataset. In addition, augmented mean group estimator, fully modified ordinary least squares, dynamic method moments quantile regression are employed to analyze stated model. The results reveal that variables interrelate long run. Moreover, positively drives surge greenhouse gas across quantiles, robustly long‐run estimates obtained from other estimators. Green energy significantly mitigates upper quantiles Other covariates meet expected signs. this context, heterogeneity conditional distribution CO 2 is unveiled throughout examined. Likewise, analysis makes it possible verify functional roles current future environmental degradation. From results, some policy implications derived so respective governments can consider them. These measures focus boosting renewable resources attain sustainability.

ABSTRACT Achieving environmental sustainability is of utmost importance to economies worldwide, regardless their level development. As a result, most international have accepted several accords deal with issues on global scale. Reducing reliance fossil fuels has been broadly recognized as the pinnacle sustainability, even though various strategies are believed address these challenges. In light above, this study employs data from 1990 2022 examine effects nuclear power, increased usage renewable energy (REE) sources, urbanization (URB), mineral depletion, and financial globalization within framework E7 nations. This three‐stage least squares co‐integration method. For robustness, Fully Modified Ordinary Least Squares Canonical Cointegrating Regression were employed. The results show that energy, REE, geothermal globalization, URB negative significant impacts stewardship. contrast, depletion had positive impact These findings provide policy recommendations for achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030, without compromising quality. Consequently, it advisable nations integrate measures consistency in strategy aligning fundamental aspects facilitate achievement SDGs.

This paper uses the GJRSK model to estimate high-order moments of energy (oil, natural gas, and coal), carbon market, tourism stocks. Then, it utilizes a novel TVP-VAR time-frequency connectedness approach examine higher-order spillovers among them. The results show strong three markets. market is emitter volatility, skewness kurtosis spillovers; stock receiver; transmitter. From time-domain perspective, markets are time-varying, especially during extreme periods, where market’s spillover effects on stocks significantly enhanced, indicating that bear greater risk at leptokurtosis fat-tail moment. frequency-domain long-term asymmetric oil, more pronounced than short-term. Moreover, COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated higher-moment market. Meanwhile, Russia-Ukraine conflict led transmission within These findings have significant implications for cross-industry investors green finance management.
