Increasing environmental awareness has driven a shift in furniture production from traditional materials, such as wood and wood-based panels, to sustainable environmentally friendly alternatives, natural-fiber-reinforced (NFR) composites. Environmental consciousness become key factor both consumer choices, with growing demand for sustainably sourced eco-friendly manufacturing processes, durable that helps reduce the impact of disposable products on environment. This paper analyzes various requirements polymer composites used applications, including performance, structural–functional, ecological, economical, safety requirements. It discusses factors influencing performance composite selection matrix reinforcing fibers, matrix-to-reinforcement ratio, choice technology, well compatibility bonding between fibers. Additionally, several standards commonly determine mechanical, physical, chemical properties these materials are presented.

In this current study, five types of strong, stiff, and lightweight composites were developed utilizing hand lay-up cold press methods by the hybridization JUCO carbon fabrics. Before fabrication composites, surfaces fabrics treated with a 5% NaOH aqueous solution. To evaluate compare mechanical characteristics fabricated tensile, flexural, impact, hardness tests conducted. Specimens also aged in artificial seawater (pH 8) for 150 days to explore effects aging on composites. Numerical analysis tensile flexural properties was done finite element method (FEM). The findings from study showed that fibers considerably enhanced natural fiber-reinforced On other hand, decrement strength, hardness, an improvement impact strength noticed due fiber degradation as result seawater. Results obtained numerical displayed good alignment experimental

Abstract Plant fiber reinforced polymer composites are attracting interest due to their mechanical and sound insulation properties. The role of the inherently hollow morphology natural fibers in reinforcing mechanisms is not completely understood. Sisal an excellent proofing material its structure. For vacuum assisted resin infusion molding (VARIM) process, pressure will affect composite impregnation state fibers, compaction degree, physical plant then damping properties materials. This article designed a sandwich structure with short sisal as core layer continuous carbon shell layer. Different pressures used aim preserve fibers. results show that reducing degree during within certain range improved performance. When 0.065 MPa, laminate reaches maximum absorption 50.31 dB, increase 23.70% compared 40.67 dB fabricated at 0.1 while impact flexural remained acceptable range, 63.700 KJ/M 2 285.193 respectively. Highlights Designed structure, core, shell. shows obvious composites. performance decreases attributed lower pressure.
