The Jingbai pear is one of the best species in China with high quality and nutrition values which are closely linked to its geographical origin. With purpose discriminating PGI Mentougou from three other producing regions, stable isotope ratios elemental profiles pears (n = 52) corresponding soils groundwater were determined using ratio mass spectrometry (IRMS) inductively coupled plasma (ICP-MS), respectively. results revealed that δ15N, δ18OJ, Li significantly different (p < 0.05) samples indicated their potential be used origin classification pear. nitrogen isotopic pulp positively correlated δ15N value content soils, whilst B, Na, K, Cr, Cd contents pulps soils. Orthogonal partial least squares discriminant analysis (OPLS-DA) was performed combination isotopes profiles, making it possible distinguish cultivation regions each a prediction accuracy (a correct rate 92.3%). this study highlight trace at small spatial scale.
