The growing popularity of remote and hybrid work has changed the dynamics how teams function accomplish tasks, creating opportunities to align practices with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Remote not only promotes labor market inclusion by eliminating barriers such as those transportation but also reduces carbon footprint associated daily commuting. However, despite advantages work, researchers practitioners point problem unstable engagement among workers. This study examines key factors influencing in models, looking at these vary depending on degree nature work. Based a systematic review, 14 critical were identified, followed development questionnaire analysis responses from 181 employees representing various models. results obtained survey indicate universal importance that work–life balance, open access organizational knowledge, personalized environment have for building engagement. At same time, extent form employment, team integration methods influence other factors, revealing differences between fully employees. findings underline effective strategies foster should be based adapting actions taken specific conditions.

Purpose This study explores expatriates’ perceptions of the support they receive during crises as transition to remote work, examining factors that help them adapt and succeed in these conditions. Design/methodology/approach Using an inductive approach, we conducted 20 semi-structured interviews with expatriates eleven countries applied reflexive thematic analysis explore organisational social work. Findings When work a consequence crisis, four are crucial for their successful should be actively reinforced by organisations: (1) Awareness tension between belonging isolation uncertainty, (2) Feeling supported, (3) Maintaining positive approach (4) JAVA/coffee connections. Practical implications Raising awareness providing structured family-level is effective assistance. Purpose This study examines how hybrid work arrangements (such as telework and flexible work) influence job performance, considering the possible moderating effects of task variety self-control. Abstract: Amid the continuing prevalence of hybrid work arrangements in post-COVID-19 context, challenges persist maintaining employees’ work-life balance (WLB). Drawing upon social ecological model and Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) theory, this study explores factors that shape employee WLB contexts how can be enhanced through individual crafting strategies human resources support provided by organization. Qualitative data were collected from 92 employees Philippines an online survey. Thematic analysis revealed key faced (i.e., unstable internet connection, commute fatigue, logistical burdens onsite work, transition remote to blurred hours boundaries, with collaboration); helpful initiatives flexible policies, communication feedback sessions, mental health well-being support, digitization processes provision technological support); employee-driven setting managing time tasks, practicing wellness, strategizing for preparedness). Findings underscore critical role as a relevant resource mitigates demands facilitates strategies, ultimately promoting across both personal domains.
