PMSG wind farms are considered the most reliable renewable energy sources as they can generate high-rating power for a small area installation. Due to machine's structure with permanent magnet rotor, it becomes standalone source no dependency on grid. this, transients and damping during initial operating conditions also high, generating peak voltages currents at stage. This paper integrates an adaptive fuzzy-based PID regulator into non-linear backstepping control of grid side converter voltage stability. The controller is initially modelled conventional PI fuzzy regulators, performance observed. A comparative analysis between different regulators carried out updated in grid-side control. There will be significant improvement DC regulation link back-to-back connected converters. With regulator, overshoot gradually dropped, desired have faster settling time, ripple content reduced. As per these improvements, farm converters has been enhanced. All modeling done using MATLAB Simulink software 'Powersystems' blocks library. shows that AF-PID response changes system. transient recovery overshoots, harmonics reduced greater extent proposed controller.
