Biodegradable active packaging has recently attracted attention owing to its ability solve environmental and food safety problems associated with traditional petroleum-based packaging. Herein, novel food-packaging films were prepared using konjac glucomannan (KGM)/polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)/citric acid (CA) composites containing Polygonatum sibiricum polysaccharide (PSP) as the agent. The effects of various PSP contents on structure, physical properties functionality composite investigated. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy scanning electron microscopy results revealed that hydrogen bonding within strengthened increasing content. X-ray diffraction addition improved crystallinity films, tensile strength reached optimum when content is 0.2 %. Furthermore, at low (≤0.2 %), was uniformly distributed in exhibited good barrier, UV-shielding antimicrobial properties. All antioxidant performance.The best sample (the film % PSP) successfully used for strawberries; this reduced weight loss extended shelf life strawberries. Thus, fabricated have broad application prospects
