Treating wastewater polluted with organic dyestuffs is still a challenge. In that vein, facile synthesis of structurally simple composite chitosan montmorillonite (CS-MMT) using glutaraldehyde as crosslinker and the magnetized analogue (MAG@CS-MMT) was proposed versatile adsorbents for cationic dye, basic Fuchsin (FUS). The present study involved the preparation, characterization, and evaluation of layered double hydroxide (LDH) with assistance algae Spirulina platensis (NiAl-Sp ZnAl-Sp).
