Abstract A New series of g-C 3 N 4 /N-doped CeO 2 nanocomposites ( NCs ) were prepared by using a simple dispersion method and its efficacy towards the photocatalytic activity has been studied. degradation an organic dye(methylene blue) synthesized carried out. detailed material characterization fabricated /N-CeO was also performed, including crystallinity, surface properties, band gap energy, excitation electron property, chemical interaction analysis. The study reveals that coupling improved diminishing optical energy 2.85 eV N-doped photocatalyst. Furthermore, exhibited efficiency methylene blue (MB) viz., 97% while comparing native form nanoparticles which showed 40% 32% (60 min) respectively. This improvement in may be ascribed to strong transport abilities layers could separate electron-hole pairs effectively.
