The adult male muskrat has a pair of scented glands, which show clear seasonal changes in their developmental status between the secretion season and non-secretion season. During season, glands are much larger than with metabolism glandular cells increasing large amount musk being produced. In this work, blood, musk, gland tissue were collected from three healthy muskrats during (September). And blood another (November) also sampled. saccharides detected by liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC-MS), indicating concentrated What is more, transcriptome analysis was employed to investigate expression patterns saccharides’ pathways, suggesting some metabolism-related genes undergo significant changes. Above all, displays differences, enhancement metabolic activity phase maintains proliferation function.

The daylily (Hemerocallis citrina Baroni) flower is a traditional raw food material that rich in variety of nutrients. In particular, the content polysaccharides abundant and has been widely used as functional component food, cosmetics, medicine, other industries. However, studies on structure-effective relationship are still lacking. view this, were isolated purified, their physical chemical properties, structure, antioxidant activity, adhesion-promoting effect probiotics evaluated. results showed novel water-soluble polysaccharide (DPW) with an average molecular weight (Mw) 2.224 kDa could be successfully using column chromatography. Monosaccharide composition analysis DPW only comprised glucose fructose, molar ratio 0.242:0.758. Through methylation nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) analysis, it was inferred belonged to fructans group structure α-D-Glcp-1→2-β-D-Fruf-1→(2-β-D-Fruf-1)n→. Abstract Bone fractures, especially large and complex defects, continue to pose significant challenges in the medical field. Current treatments often rely on autografts or allografts for structural support, which can lead problems such as reduced bioactivity, infection risks, potential pathogen transmission. Nature herbal medicine (NHM), including herbs extracts, offers a promising alternative by effectively modulating inflammatory responses, enhancing osteoblast function, inhibiting bone resorption, thereby facilitating fracture repair. However, traditional drug delivery methods NHM encounter interactions, poor tissue distribution, patient compliance. Biomaterials, engineered interact with biological systems, play essential roles repair, mechanical delivery. When used carriers, biomaterials be combined form stable systems that further promote regeneration. Here applications of are reviewed, hydrogels, extracellular vesicles, cement, conjunction regulating homeostasis aiming provide valuable insights guidance future research therapeutic strategies.
