Abstract A new method was developed to quickly produce carboxymethyl hemicellulose (CM-Hemi) and fluorescent nitrogen-doped carbon dots (N–CDs) from sugarcane bagasse (SB). These materials were then combined with calcium chloride (CaCl₂) create hydrogel sensors antibacterial antifungal properties. The CM-Hemi@Ca-N–CDs effective against both Gram-negative ( Escherichia coli ) Gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus bacteria compared CM-Hemi@Ca which give no activity. Both hydrogels also exhibited properties Candida albicans . Abstract Naturally occurring inexpensive substance is useful as a raw material like graphite. Graphene oxide (GO) made from sugarcane bagasse (SB) to create nano graphene (GO‐SB). We investigated development and characterization of composite membranes based on grafted graphene oxide (GO) with ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA)/silane loaded onto polyethersulfone (PES) for dielectric applications. Fourier transform infrared analysis confirmed the presence oxygen-containing groups GO introduction new peaks corresponding to EDTA/silane in membrane. X-ray diffraction revealed a shift peaks, indicating successful modification. Raman spectroscopy showed an increase defect ratio (ID/IG) after modification, suggesting interaction between GO. Transmission electron microscopy is expected show morphological changes upon incorporation EDTA/silane. The use of solid waste such as ceramic sludge, rollers, and magnesite was studied to obtain cheap refractory ceramics at temperatures 1300 °C based on XRF, XRD SEM, EDX, bending strength, dielectric properties. prepared samples were examined. results showed that the significant crystalline phases formed mullite, spinel, corundum. They also mullite hindered formation cordierite enhanced spinel formation. With increased content, microstructure varied from fine grained coarse grained. Bending strength with increasing content bulk density, ranging 10.80 13.50 MPa. Bulk density increase in sintering temperature ranged 1.99 1.94 g/cm3, while percentage porosity water absorption decreased 29.40 38.83, respectively. To examine effect produced characteristics, permittivity (ε′), loss (ε″), AC conductivity (σac) measured frequency range 10−1 Hz 106 Hz. As concentration increased, there a noticeable drop ε′ 35.6 8.2 σac 10−8 s/cm around 10−11 high values resistivity 108 cm/s about 1010 cm/s, suggesting this material might be an excellent insulator.
