The global climate crisis, driven by unchecked industrialization and ecological negligence, compels humanity to seek alternative ways either avert or mitigate the disastrous environmental phenomena encountered, particularly in recent years. significant quantities of biomass generated human activities may serve as important resources for technological applications, valorization offers dual benefits. This review emphasizes potential starch lignin adaptable materials advancement sustainable eco-friendly technologies. By investigating catalytic alterations, we advance a more future tackle escalating issues pollution sustainability. Catalytic alterations have become essential techniques their valorization. Biopolymers can be changed into useful chemicals materials, like levulinic acid, lactic 5-HMF modified starch, which are used paper, textile, coatings industries. Besides transforming chemicals, produce reactive carbon compounds that find application both classical chemistry photocatalysis. Additionally, use highly functionalized polymeric matrices catalysts. We change matrices’ chemical backbone make them better at speeding up reactions cross-coupling multicomponent reactions.
