Polyether block amide (Pebax) is difficult to prepare high expansion ratio (ER) foam in a wide range of foaming temperatures by supercritical CO2-assisted due its weak melt strength and complex crystallization behavior. In this work, Pebax with ER was prepared two-step under CO2 after chain extension modification. The results showed that the addition extender significantly increased improved behavior Pebax. At same time, window temperature reduced from 160 140 °C, which realizes large-span control 1.2 times 39.1 for first time. addition, second isothermal process regulated achieve preparation rate at different temperatures. What more interesting has minimum thermal conductivity 30.5 mW m–1 K–1, good insulation properties.

Polylactic acid (PLA) foam, known for its biodegradability and biocompatibility, faces limitations due to poor melt viscosity low crystallinity. To address these issues, this research utilizes ethylene‐glycidyl methacrylate copolymer as a chain extender (CE) enhance PLA incorporates the nucleating agent diphenylhydrazide sebacic (ST‐NAB3) adjust crystallization characteristics. The CEPLA/ST‐NAB3 material is developed foamed using supercritical CO 2 an intermittent method. Observations by polarizing microscope differential scanning calorimeter show increases in both rate crystallinity of sample. When ST‐NAB3 content 0.4 wt%, transformation from spherulite string crystal morphology occurs. Rheological tests higher strength compared with pure PLA, thereby improving foaming behavior. temperature 108 °C, foam wt% has smallest cell size highest density, which are 55.38 μm 3.95 × 10 6 cells cm −3 , respectively. Following annealing treatment, compressive containing 5.35 MPa, while Vicat softening rises 87.4 °C. This study offers effective approach performance foams, expanding their potential applications various industries.

Energy consumption in the field of heat preservation increases every year, so it is important to develop foam with a good thermal insulation properties. In this work, method for fabrication poly(vinyl alcohol)-polycaprolactone (PVA–PCL) blend foams high expansion ratio and low conductivity using PVA–PCL mixture solution via supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO2) foaming was proposed. A water content used as coblowing agent, differences behaviors between PVA PCL were introduce large cells into foam, which together increased foam. The effects content, saturation time, temperature, pressure, assistant solvent (water) on behavior scCO2 investigated. results show that has (44) (25.97 mW·m–1·K–1).
