Rice is the major crop of Thailand. However, rice yield still limited, especially in local cultivars. Fermented chitin (FC) application to soil has been demonstrated improve growth and yield. The biostimulants proposed both quality ‛RD69’ ‛HGD’ varieties. While FC suggested as a potential solution, specific effects on seed quantity remain insufficiently explored. In this study, pot experiments were conducted determine with husk (FC+RH) treatments grain two cultivars, ’Hawm Gulahb Deang’ (HGD), which are colored varieties high antioxidant levels. low apparent amylose content (AAC) percentage rapidly available glucose (RAG), while Thai medium AAC %RAG. FC+RH applied supplements at concentrations 0.01%, 0.1%, 0.2% (w/w). supplementation resulted highest (73%) (30%). Although did not significantly affect decreased their Interestingly, although enhanced activity seeds was more responsive than ‘HGD’, higher levels detected seeds. These findings suggest that can enhance rice.

Abstract The emergence of the Guava Root-Knot Nematode ( Meloidogyne enterolobii ) poses a significant threat to tomato yields globally. This study aimed evaluate impact collagen and chitin soil amendments on microbial composition function (fungal bacterial communities), their effects plant health M. infection under standard (5,000 eggs -1 high (50,000 inoculum pressure. Conducted in greenhouse setting, investigated effectiveness these nurturing beneficial communities across both native agricultural soils. Both were effective reducing nematode egg counts up 66% 84% pressure, respectively enhance parameters (biomass chlorophyll content). Moreover, microbiome shift led an increase Kitasatospora, Bacillus, Streptomyces fungal Phialemonium genera, known for chitinase, collagenase, plant-parasitic control. Among microbes, spp. found among core associated with lower disease incidence assessed through phenotype-OTU network analysis (PhONA). Under higher metabolite expression was observed amino acid class being majority groups. findings highlight potential mitigate by fostering communities.
