In this research, silver-loaded biochar (C-Ag) was acquired from a waste fish scale, and nanocellulose (CNF) prepared the wheat stalk. Then C-Ag loaded into chitosan-polyvinyl alcohol hydrogel (CTS-PVA) with CNC as reinforcement agent, novel nanocomposite material acquired, which could be efficiently applied for antibacterial dye removal. By plate diffusion analysis, inhibition areas of C-Ag-CTS-PVA-CNF (C/CTS/PVA/CNF) against E. coli ATCC25922, S. aureus ATCC6538, P. aeruginosa ATCC9027 reach 22.5 mm, 22.0 24.0 respectively. It found that rate 100% in water experiment 2 h, activity more than 90% within 35 days after preparation, repeated tests five times. Through swelling, adsorption, loss rate, content tests, manifested good moisturizing properties effectually block improve stability C/CTS/PVA/CNF hydrogel. The pseudo-first-order pseudo-second-order models were built, adsorption capacity to analyzed, removal consistent kinetic model. best effect Congo red 96.3 mg/g. had remarkable efficacy on Malachite green, Methyl orange, red, Methylene blue. As result, hydrogels robust reusability. addition, present research developed facile strategy effectual dyes aqueous medium.

Microbial contamination remains a global issue threatening human health. In this research, silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were fabricated using Osmanthus fragrans flower extract as reducing agent, and biochar derived from carbonizing waste barley distillers’ grain shells was used support to fabricate silver-loaded carbon (C-AgNP, C-Ag). PVA-CS-C-Ag-St gel acquired by cross-linking polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), chitosan (CS), starch (St) with glutaraldehyde (GA). Results SEM, FTIR, XRD demonstrated that PVA, CS, St, C-Ag successfully incorporated into the gel. The PVA-CS-C-Ag-S showcased excellent swelling water retention properties, which had substantial antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, inhibition zones of 25.0 mm, 22.5 18.0 respectively. Finally, antimicrobial analysis revealed exhibited properties typical Gram-positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus) Gram-negative (Escherichia coli aeruginosa). Overall, holds great promise for food preservation environmental pollution control.

Dandelion extract is a reducing agent, and CuSO4∙5H2O was used as carrier to create copper nanoparticles (CuNPs). A novel polyvinyl alcohol–chitosan–dandelion–CuNP (PVA/CTS/DAN/CuNP) gel acquired by cross-linking Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) chitosan (CTS) solution. Its structure analyzed using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, Scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction. The PVA/CTS/DAN/CuNP gels manifested good stability, recycling ability, swelling properties, biocompatibility. Using the agar diffusion method, diameters of inhibition zone composite against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa could be over 21 mm. In conclusion, had antibacterial performance, which has high potential for application in microbial contamination treatment environmental protection.
