Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have become a highly usable system in various sectors because of their ordered structure and high porosity providing them with storage capacity. However, use is sometimes forbidden the food industry due to presence some organic compounds which undesirable effects. Cyclodextrins, are considered GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) by FDA, comes very good alternative previously used for development MOFs be packaging industry, especially sector. The cyclodextrin MOF does possess edible, biocompatible, well biodegradable characteristics these reasons, they gained attention from researchers industry. In this review, we focus on recent advancements field CD MOFs. We emphasized synthesis through different techniques, formations inclusion complex bioactive compounds, characterization.
