Abstract The incidence of episiotomy in Iran has been reported to be high, resulting complications such as perineal infection and pain. This study investigates the effects quince seed mucilage on healing process A triple‐blinded clinical trial was conducted from October 2023 August 2024 Iran, involving 90 primiparous women who were randomly assigned either gel group or placebo for a duration 14 days, with administration three times daily. primary outcomes included wound pain, which evaluated using REEDA questionnaire visual analogue scale. Data analysis performed utilising SPSS version 25. There no statistically significant differences found between groups regarding VAS scores immediately following repair ( p > 0.05). However, day 14, overall indicated that pain levels intervention significantly more favourable than those control = 0.001 vs. 0.002, respectively). demonstrates beneficial impact improving alleviating application this may facilitate quicker return normalcy mothers.

Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)-based hydrogels have received a lot of attention due to their superior biocompatibility and versatile applications. However, the fabrication structurally complex at high resolutions (<100 μm) remains challenging, mainly limitations in traditional methods such as casting extrusion-based 3D printing. This work proposes sol-gel electrohydrodynamic direct writing (SGEHD), facile low-cost platform integrating thermally induced transition with printing for high-resolution PVA hydrogels. By optimizing jet stability controlling phase velocity, we achieved finer than 70 μm, surpassing hydrogel techniques. study also develops method quality evaluation deposited lines, finally provides some examples patterned gel processing SGEHD demonstrate pattern fidelity this technique.

Abstract Nanofiber membranes receive considerable interest recently because of their distinctive structural features, facile preparation, as well high filtering efficiency. Due to ever‐increasing air pollution, made from biodegradable materials can play a crucial part in providing purified with minimum concerns environmental issues after the membrane's end service life. The purpose this systematic review is assess performance electrospun nanofibrous membrane filters toward sub‐micron particles. To identify relevant studies, search carried out major scientific engines including PubMed, Scopus, and Web Science. Data extraction used collect necessary information on membranes' properties, filtration metrics such efficiency, pressure drop, quality factor. Among derived polymers, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)‐based are more effective efficiency capturing results highlight that these types low energy consumption, making them apt for purification. use supply both protection environment.
