Abstract In this study, Capparis cartilaginea extract was used as a reducing and stabilizing agent to perform an eco‐friendly synthesis of gelatin‐coated silver ferrite nanoparticles (GAgFeO 2 ). The had crystallite size approximately 25 nm were characterized via X‐ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), field‐emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) surface area analysis. BET analysis revealed that the gelatin coating results in GAgFeO having slightly lower specific (22.87 m /g), than AgFeO had. exhibited moderate stability with zeta potential −17.5 mV, while showed higher −23.8 indicating stronger electrostatic repulsion enhanced colloidal stability. Antimicrobial tests 26 mm inhibition zone against MRSA, 14 Pseudomonas aeruginosa , 16 Salmonella Typhimurium outperforming uncoated nanoparticles. minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) Candida albicans 0.062 mg/mL antifungal potential. These demonstrate superior antimicrobial efficacy well their application medical environmental fields.
