Introduction Weaning stress syndrome in piglets seriously endangers the healthy development of breeding industry. Dioscorea oppositifolia L. (Chinese yam, YAM) has activities such as boosting immunity and regulating gastrointestinal function. In order to explore potential efficacy YAM on weaned piglets, this study aimed investigate effects growth performance, immune function, intestinal health flora composition piglets. Methods Forty-eight 28-day-old were randomly divided into a control group, YAML group YAMH with 0, 1 2% added basal diet, respectively. During experiment, piglets’ feed intake was recorded, blood fecal samples collected. After feeding period, tissue colon content collected for testing. Results The results showed that adding diet can lower incidence diarrhea improve performance nutrient digestibility, reduce serum enzyme activity alanine aminotransferase (ALT), total cholesterol (TC) low-density lipoprotein (LDL-C); addition, also increase immunoglobulins (Ig) antibody titers, regulate level inflammatory factors, promote expression secretory immunoglobulin A (SIgA) protein intestine. Furthermore, supplementation villus height (VH), ratio crypt depth (V/C), Tight junctions (TJs), positive regulatory effect flora. Discussion summary, alleviates weaning by promoting improving function disease resistance, morphology mucosal immunity, microbial This provides theoretical basis application new plant-derived additive.

Introduction Sheep placenta extract (SPE) is a representative traditional medicinal substance that exhibits multiple experimentally validated physiological properties, including anti-aging effects, wound healing acceleration, antioxidant activity, and anti-inflammatory mechanisms. However, the mechanism by which SPE influences delay of aging still not yet clear. Methods Exploring effects sheep on D-gal induced senescence in mouse model macrogenomics metabolomics. Post-weaning Diarrhea (PWD) is a kind of physiological stress diarrhea in Rex rabbits after weaning, which can lead to death severe cases.
