In
the
process
of
underground
blasting
excavation,
safety
and
stability
rock
mass
are
significantly
influenced
by
dynamic
load.
To
study
full-field
strain
displacement
behaviour
materials
subjected
to
compressive
force,
impact
tests
were
done
on
red
sandstone
specimens
using
an
electromagnetically
driven
Hopkinson
pressure
bar.
At
same
time,
data
collected
a
high-speed
camera,
non-contact
measurements
carried
out
with
digital
image
correlation
method.
The
resulting
images
screened
analysed,
based
which
stress-strain
curve,
cloud
diagram
obtained.
Results
show
that
peak
stress
increases
increase
velocity.
During
process,
substantial
internal
uneven
deformation
occurs
in
close
transmission
bar's
end
face.
Under
load,
cracks
initiate
from
upper
lower
sides
near
face,
followed
formation
middle
part.
These
expand
throughout
form
through-cracks,
eventually
complete
failure.
For
materials,
evolution
their
field
during
failure
can
reflect
initiation
propagation
cracks.
Therefore,
use
method
proves
effective
for
studying
mechanisms
rock.
conclusions
obtained
this
provide
valuable
reference
macro-meso
geotechnical
materials.

Abstract
The
surrounding
rock
of
underground
chamber
is
frequently
affected
by
disturbance
load
and
circulating
temperature;
it
meaningful
to
study
the
mechanical
properties
under
these
conditions
for
construction
a
safe
effective
chamber.
This
investigates
properties,
failure
modes,
acoustic
emission
(AE)
characteristics
basalt
sandstone
various
pretreatments,
including
water
saturation
pretreatment
(rock
samples
[SR]),
subjected
cyclic
temperature
(SR-CTT),
loading
(SR-CLT),
combined
(SR-CTT-CLT).
A
series
uniaxial
compression
tests
(UCTs)
were
conducted
analyze
how
pretreatments
affect
sandstone.
These
two
kinds
exhibit
distinct
SR-CLT
SR-CTT-CLT
make
change
from
inclined
shear
X-shaped
shear,
while
makes
turn
into
splitting.
AE
data
reveal
that
generally
exhibits
lower
counts
than
sandstone,
with
highest
observed
SR-CTT-CLT.
Energy
analysis
indicates
accumulates
more
total
energy
(Et)
elastic
(Ee)
compared
different
affecting
dissipation
(Ed)
damage
severity
differently
in
each
type.
findings
contribute
understanding
complex
interactions
