The
Zinc-air
battery
(ZAB)
has
become
a
hot
research
topic
for
nearly
decade
due
to
its
high
energy
densities.
As
an
important
category
of
catalysts
ZAB,
perovskites
have
attracted
extensive
interests
because
their
environmentally
friendly
properties,
cheapness,
and
excellent
electrocatalytic
performances.
This
review
article
discusses
the
mechanistic
analyses
regarding
progress
ZAB.
In
addition,
electrode
manipulation
methods
device
are
also
emphasized.
Finally,
perspectives
given
on
limitations
current
perovskite
ZABs.
We
hope
that
this
will
provide
new
clues
promoting
as
many
energy-storage
conversion
applications
in
future.

In
this
work,
an
anode
current
collector
with
a
scaled
step-hole
structure
(called
SF-type)
and
cathode
perforated
cross-tilt
X-type)
were
designed
fabricated
for
application
in
passive
direct
methanol
fuel
cells
(DMFCs).
A
whole-cell
test
showed
that
the
combination
of
SF-type
conventional
increased
optimal
concentration
from
6
M
to
8
maximum
power
density
5.40
mW
cm−2,
which
improved
cell
performance
by
51.6%
compared
design
under
ambient
testing
conditions.
The
X-type
achieved
5.65
cm−2
58.7%
improvement,
while
was
10
M.
Furthermore,
obtained
highest
at
6.22
cm−2.
Notably,
catalyst
loadings
