Healthcare facilities in isolated rural areas of sub-Saharan Africa face challenges providing essential health services due to unreliable energy access. This study examines the use hybrid renewable systems consisting solar PV, wind turbines, batteries, and hydrogen storage for electrification healthcare Nigeria South Africa. The deployed efficacy Hybrid Optimization Multiple Energy Resources software techno-economic analysis Evaluation based on Distance from Average Solution method multi-criteria decision-making sizing, optimizing, selecting optimal system. Results show that configurations achieve cost-effective levelized costs ranging $0.336 $0.410/kWh both countries. For case study, system includes 5 kW 10 fuel cell, inverter, electrolyzer, 16 kg tank. Africa's configuration has battery, 7.5 rectifier. Solar PV provides more than 90 % energy, with dual axis tracking yielding highest output: 8,889kWh/yr 10,470kWh/yr reveals Nigeria's preferred option is without tracking. In contrast, horizontal axis, weekly adjustment Africa, considering technical, economic, environmental criteria. findings highlight importance context-specific optimization accelerate Sustainable Development Goals 3 7.

Energy is an important aspect of a country’s long-term growth, and to meet the increasing electrical demand for reliable manner, there urge plan future generations. In this study, metaheuristic optimization approaches that have recently been constructed, which include coati algorithm hippopotamus optimization, were applied determine perfect dimensions grid-independent composite renewable energy infrastructure. The problem attempts reduce total annual cost system while maintaining reliability loss power supply probability in acceptable range. Three combinations hybrid systems designed optimized, findings point out consisting photovoltaic module, wind turbine, storage battery, battery most cost-effective optimal system. lowest PV/WT/SB/DG obtained by using HOA $24473, followed PV/WT/DG at $ 26270 PV/SB/DG $35848. Also, outcomes proposed contrasted with those HOMER platform. When contrasting effectiveness methods, solution resolving sizing issue since it offers effective compromise among robustness, accuracy, convergence rate.
