Abstract Large bone defects caused by disease, physiological deformation, and accidental injury present significant challenges for clinical tissue repair. Calcium silicon phosphate (CSP)‐based bioceramics are widely used defect repair with the advantages of biocompatibility osteogenic properties. However, poor mechanical strength limits their load‐bearing applications. In this work, a novel CSP‐based bioceramic, Nagelschmidtite (Nagel, Ca 7 Si 2 P O 16 ), was fabricated molten salt synthesis (MSS), sol‒gel, solid‐state reaction methods. Materials characterization revealed Nagel powders from MSS method possess high crystallinity, uniform particle size distribution, smooth surfaces, disks exhibited low porosity density. Benefiting above characterizations, sample enhanced roughly 6.07 times relative to sol‒gel sample. Meanwhile, stable degradation performance mineralization ability mean that samples have potential direct application sites. Furthermore, can be support three dimensional (3D)‐printed scaffolds various shapes. These findings demonstrate bioceramics, produced crystallinity through method, highly promising as 3D‐printed biomaterials applications in regeneration.
