Hydrogen is undoubtedly one of the most promising alternatives for generating energy with low environmental impact. However, hydrogen produced today derived from fossil fuels, which negatively impacts environment. In this context, biomass conversion technologies emerge as a sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative to conventional fossil-based processes production. The main objective study underscore potential biomass-derived hydrogen, key solutions. This work reviews diverse biological thermochemical pathways production, noting challenges in technology feedstock diversity. Biomass offers local availability economic benefits, potentially yielding negative emissions. Biological methods like bio-photolysis fermentation promise low-energy, waste-recycling solutions despite operational constraints. Thermochemical processes, influenced by type content, favor economies scale gasification viability. Hydrothermal shows high-moisture feedstocks. Overall, while suit centralized large-scale offer decentralized options, necessitating continued innovation integration into future strategies.

Many industrialized countries in the Global North are looking at imported hydrogen from South to fuel their industries of 21 st century. Currently, most research on economy looks developed countries, but it remains unclear how a transition based may impact South. This paper examines three case studies projected front runners export, Egypt, Morocco, and Africa, explore risks opportunities such partnerships. The study is empirically review policy strategies project documents. analysis draws resource governance typology evaluate partnerships under development. Findings show that all face unique socioeconomic challenges could affect potential benefit export local decarbonization opportunities. article concludes with recommendations develop new collaborations avoid unintended consequences.

Green hydrogen can be generated through electrolysis using electricity from renewable sources, such as wind and solar, to split water into hydrogen. This study evaluates the green supply chain (GHSC) upstream process two-phase integrated multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) framework. In first phase, data envelopment (DEA) technique is applied measure relative efficiency of provincial alternatives with multiple criteria. The input criteria include area, population density, gross domestic product value, land cost data. contrast, sustainability-based governmental concerning people, prosperity, planet, peace, partnership indices are used output Then, for order preference by similarity ideal Solution (TOPSIS) further evaluate regional districts Ubonratchathani province, one twelve relatively efficient provinces, obtain ranking list potential energy sites in GHSC. Criteria related geographic climate relevant solar are, thus, collected analyzed. Our results show that top three district areas Kut Khaopun District, Pho Sai Na Tan respectively. Finally, obtained verified robustness assessment. offer a strategic practical policymakers involved site appraisal process.
