Energy production and consumption are major contributors to greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, exacerbating one of the greatest challenges faced by modern societies: climate change. Thus, societies must switch more sustainable energy sources. Green hydrogen has emerged as a promising alternative carrier, facilitating storage utilization across various industries. However, amidst different processes, solely electrolysis stands out an environmentally benign method. Hydrogen producers prove provenance regulatory bodies buyers comply with regulations for development. Blockchain provides viable solution encompassing trustworthy secure information sharing between untrusted partners. In this article, we employ design science research approach develop blockchain-based certification system (BLC-CS) green hydrogen. Through collaboration experts gather requirements conduct evaluations, artifact that streamlines process producers, regulators, consumers. Our proposed facilitates gathering, verification, reporting, contributing advancement practices. We provide comprehensive discussion BLC-CS’s feasibility certification, including technical extensions, recommendations practitioners, directions future research.

Sustainable development has elevated the role of green entrepreneurship, notably in China's electric vehicle (EV) components sector, which presents vast opportunities for SMEs. While studies have explored success and failure Green Entrepreneurial Intention, factors influencing it remain under-researched, particularly from perspective individual intentions. Existing research primarily focuses on policies, regulations, macro-environments affecting business models, with limited attention to influence entrepreneurial sustainable initiatives. This study aims bridge this gap by examining impact Perceived Attitude, Behavioural Control, Subjective Norms, Organizational Commitment Entrepreneurship using Openness Experience as a moderating factor. Data were collected through cross-sectional survey 383 SMEs China, employing simple random sampling technique. PLS-SEM regression analysis was used test hypotheses, guided Theory Planned Behaviour (TPB) (OC) theory. The findings revealed that Attitude significantly positively influences entrepreneurship Highly integrative subjective norms also correlated Furthermore, Control facilitated emerged strong moderator relationships between Norms Intention. contributes existing knowledge base highlighting gaps inconsistencies literature regarding TPB OC intention. results theoretical managerial implications, emphasizing importance fostering entrepreneurship.

Hydrogen produced from renewable energy is being promoted to decarbonise global systems. To support this transition, standards, certification, and labelling schemes (SCLs) aim differentiate hydrogen products based on their system-wide carbon emissions method of production characteristics. However, certified as low-carbon, clean, or green does not guarantee broader sustainability across economic, environmental, social, governance dimensions. Through an international survey energy-sector professionals (n = 179), we investigated the desirable features for SCLs perceived advantages disadvantages certification. Our mixed-method study revealed general accordance feasible inclusion diverse criteria in SCLs, albeit with varying degrees essentiality. Within confines data, some differences viewpoints emerged respondents' geographical supply chain locations, which were associated sharing costs benefits. Qualitatively, respondents found idea SCL harmonisation attractive but weighed against risks duplication, complicated administrative procedures, contradictory regulation.
