This study examines the crucial role played by Cu in electrochemical corrosion under marine and hydrogen-coupled environments. The adsorption energies of hydrogen chlorine at different surface sites α-Fe Cu-doped were analysed using first-principles computations. A significant increase introduced was discovered evidenced shifts polarisation curves, corresponding with morphologies. Moreover, we delve into effects on solubility diffusion within steel, showing that atoms affect transport altering energy barriers forming precipitates. These comprehensive insights provide a deeper understanding doping enhancing performance durability Ni-containing steels corrosive hydrogen-prone environments, offering valuable guidelines for material design application industrial settings.

Surface defects on the insulation layer, hidden in layer and surface metal of insulated cladding components can significantly affect their normal operation. Distinguishing these three different types defect helps to adopt corresponding maintenance plans early on, which have practical industrial application value for ensuring safe operation enhancing economic benefits. This paper uses capacitive imaging (CI) technique distinguish components. Considering amplitude, gradient size CI detection signals, a centre (CGV) is proposed. Based technique, threshold method (CGTM) developed using CGV threshold. The influence width, depth thickness CGTM discrimination studied through simulation experiment. Simulation experimental results indicate that when there are component simultaneously, effectively defect. In addition, also demonstrate only one or two component, not affected by thickness.

Green hydrogen is pivotal for transforming China's clean energy systems, yet analyses of various carriers and green electricity transmission remain limited. This study investigates cost dynamics supply across six pathways from production to refueling within China, encompassing such as liquid (LH2), organic carriers, methanol (CH3OH), ammonia (NH3). These are categorized into the pathway (I) (II), wherein delivered renewable-rich regions demand centers on-site production, considering potential risk associated with storage transportation large volume hydrogen. The results show that (II) yields lowest at 12.07 USD/kg. In contrast, CH3OH most expensive option 30.70 Operational expenditures primary drivers costs, while capital significantly influence conversion delivery phases, especially NH3 LH2. Transportation distance critically affects overall cost. Pathway remains economical over 500–5000 km. LH2 preferred beyond 700 km; surpasses LOHC 2150 km pipeline 4300 Furthermore, longer annual operating hours shorter distances can greatly reduce costs. For example, drops by 92% increase 1000 5000 decreases 500 Regional variations primarily attributed spatial distribution renewable resources. findings highlight importance developing region-specific strategies upgrading infrastructure enhance cost-efficiency chain.
