Hydrogen energy has made significant progress as one of the technological pathways that can facilitate green transformation various sectors, including chemical industry, steel production, transportation, and power generation. However, areas with high demand for hydrogen are typically located thousands kilometers away from large-scale production facilities. transported most cost-competitive large sites to lack resources requires converting gaseous into a high-density liquid. Thus, global market trade is important carriers in long-distance transportation. In this study, liquefied (LH2) ammonia (NH3), which hydrogen-based carriers, analyzed compared terms economic costs, efficiency, carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. It been demonstrated LH2 supply chain more energy-efficient higher CO2 emissions NH3 chain. Furthermore, study shows levelized cost transportation (LCoHT) delivered Australia Ningbo, China, lower (19.95 yuan/kg-H2) (22.83 yuan/kg-H2). Meanwhile, LCoHT two chains similar range (27.82 yuan/kg-H2 21.53 NH3, respectively) Norway China. The impacts parameters on LCoHT, LH2/NH3 also considered through sensitivity analysis.
