<div class="section abstract"><div class="htmlview paragraph">This study examines performance metrics and emission profiles of Kirloskar TV1 CI engine fuelled with blend containing waste transformer oil (WTO) biodiesel (40%), n-Heptane (10%), diesel (50%) by volume (referred to as WTO40H10D50), additional 10 lpm hydrogen induction in the intake manifold. Effects varied injection fuel timing (19°, 21°, 23°bTDC) pressure (170, 210, 240 bar) WTO40H10D50 on were analyzed at 100% loading condition. The findings indicate that an 23°bTDC IP bar yield highest BTE lowest BSEC, suggesting optimal energy conversion efficiency. influence inducted H2 resulted smoke opacity HC emissions, demonstrating more complete cleaner combustion. results 23° bTDC produced best overall performance, brake thermal efficiency specific consumption, reflecting efficient use. This combination also opacity, signifying combustion minimal soot emissions. However, for emissions control, different timings performed better: 19° minimized unburnt hydrocarbon (UHC) while 21° yielded carbon monoxide (CO) trade-off occurred oxides nitrogen (NOx) which due elevated temperatures, requiring after-treatment technologies mitigation. Overall, cleanliness These settings provide a balanced approach, maximizing minimizing harmful making them suitable operation.</div></div>
