This study presents a comprehensive economic and technological evaluation of renewable hybrid power systems for hydrogen refueling stations (HRS) in Nizwa, Oman, leveraging cutting-edge optimization algorithms to determine the most cost-effective efficient energy system configurations. Three photovoltaic-wind turbine-battery (PV-WT-B), photovoltaic-wind-fuel cell-battery (PV-WT-FC-B), wind (WT-B) were evaluated based on net present cost (NPC), levelized (LCOE), (LCOH). The employs advanced techniques, including Mayfly Algorithm, Genetic CUKO Search, Gray Wolf Optimizer (GWO), Constrained Particle Swarm Optimization (CPSO), Harmony Search (HS), Flower Pollination Algorithm viable HRS Nizwa. results indicate that CPSO consistently achieves lowest NPC, LCOE, LCOH, whereas HS GWO yield higher costs due convergence inefficiencies. Sensitivity analysis reveals strong inverse correlation between PV capacity metrics, highlighting advantage increased solar generation. Additionally, configurations integrating turbine (PV-WT-B, PV-WT-FC-B) significantly reduce NPC compared WT-B, reinforcing role optimizing costs. Furthermore, fuel cell integration (PV-WT-FC-B) imposes additional burdens, making PV-WT-B solution deployment Oman. More so, annual worth return-on-investment demonstrated is preferred meet needs terms investment. findings underscore importance fraction factor economics, demonstrating enhances sustainability cost-efficiency. provides transformative framework decarbonizing Oman's transportation sector, offering insights into optimal production strategies advance global clean transition.
