The Longtan Formation in Sichuan Basin is a new field and strata for the exploration development of coal measure gas, evaluation geochemical geological conditions lacking. In this study, elemental geochemistry, mineralogy, organic geochemistry source rocks (organic matter type, abundance, maturity), only geophysical analysis bulk rock (Low-temperature nitrogen adsorption, Mercury intrusion, nuclear magnetic resonance) were performed to determine reservoir pore structure source-reservoir geological-geochemical controlling factors. Geochemistry mineralogy reveal frequent shale tuffaceous sandstone interbeds southern under Emeishan igneous provenance supply relatively oxic environment. low input terrigenous clastics, dysoxic suboxic or anoxic environment transgression central have led coal-shale interbedding. type III kerogen, which stage high-over maturation, with high TOC content excellent hydrocarbon generation potential. seam has good properties (porosity 9.25%, volume 4.74cm3/g), permeability (5 × 10-3mD) caprock sealing ability. Overall, constitute basic configuration superimposed gas reservoir, form favorable interval measures.
