Abstract Water contamination due to significant industrialization and urbanization has drawn the attention of numerous researchers water remediation techniques like photocatalysis. The intriguing characteristics silicon nanowires (SiNWs), light trapping catalytic activity for removal textile dyes, have this material. In work, synthesis SiNWs their modifications with metal particles copper or silver different concentrations been reported. Metal‐assisted chemical etching, a cost‐effective easy method, is used an optimized aspect ratio. as‐prepared materials it photocatalysis performance are studied by X‐ray diffraction (XRD), field emission transmission electron microscope (FESEM, TEM), UV–visible spectroscopy. XRD confirms presence on SiNWs. FESEM image reveals formation flower‐like structures morphologies copper‐modified samples shown efficacy in removing Rhodamine‐B process under irradiation UV light. It observed that when concentration nanoparticles increased, increase photocatalytic obtained. efficiency came within range 50–65%.

Abstract The effects of the addition acetic acid (HAc) and ethanol on phase structure crystal growth behavior La 0.8 Ca 0.2 Cr Al O 3 nanopowders prepared via sol–gel method were investigated. As a result, with stable hexagonal successfully fabricated after heat treatment at 1400°C using low content. activation energy increased first then decreased increase HAc or addition. In comparison, increment in quantity had more pronounced effect growth. Correspondingly, crystallite size final products was controlled to be 37.14 nm, lowest (22.47 ± 0.46 kJ/mol) for obtained deionized water as solvent M/HAc molar ratio 2:1, which beneficial crystallization grains.
